Coconut Oil Treatment

This oil contains fatty acids and antioxidants that not only helps grow thick and strong nails, but also fight fungal infections. If you’re suffering from nail fungus you can seek relief from this natural oil.

To use coconut oil for treating weak nails, simply use it as a nail and cuticle massage. Heat some coconut oil and when it’s cool enough, you can apply it to each of your finger or toe nails. Massage your finger tips and toes for about 5 to 10 minutes. You can repeat this step at least twice a day everyday for best results.

Sea Salt Brine Solution

By mixing salt with warm water, you can have an instant nail-strengthening soak! This healthy brine solution can help heal fungal infections as well as nourish your nails, leaving it smooth, shiny, and fungus-free!

Add about 2 tablespoons of sea salt to a large bowl or big container, where you can dip your hands for about 15 minutes before patting dry. You may also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil scent for a more relaxing experience. Apply a moisturizing hand and foot cream after the soak. Do this step at least twice or thrice a week to see great results.

Lemon and Olive Soak

These natural ingredients have been known to have great healing as well as beautifying properties. Olive oil contains vitamin E, which helps fight cell damage and improves cell renewal. Thus this nutrient helps strengthen brittle nails allowing it to grow out longer. Lemon has been found to heal peeling nails and nail staining, leaving your fingernails shinier and whiter!

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat the mixture until slightly warm. Massage this mixture in your nails and then soak your fingertips for about 20 minutes. You also have an option of doing this in the evening and leaving it on overnight. You will see that your nails will look much better the next day.

Milk Soak

Milk contains both protein and calcium. Nutrients that promote healthy and strong nails. Our nails are mostly made up of proteins called keratin. Without keratin your nails will soon develop hangnails or become extremely brittle. This protein along with calcium give nails shape and strength.

Mix together 1 egg yolk and about 2 tablespoons of milk. Beat the mixture well. Use it as a nail massage. Let it sit on your finger or toe nails for about 20 minutes before finally rinsing off.

Apple Cider Vinegar Soak

Apple cider vinegar is one of the simplest beauty remedies that you can find at home. You can use it practically all over your body from head to toe!

This natural juice contains compounds that help ward off nail infections including yellow nails. Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water in a big bowl. Soak your nails in this vinegar-water solution for about 10 minutes. Do this once daily and you’ll see amazing benefits on your nail strength and health.

Vitamin E Oil Treatment

This nail treatment is simple, fast, and inexpensive! One of the main causes of weak nails is lack of moisture. By using vitamin E oil, you’ll help revive your nails’ natural moisture, leaving it shinier and longer.

Get vitamin E oil capsules and then extract the oil. Apply it on all of your fingernails and toenails. Massage this oil on your nails for about 10 minutes and leave it in overnight. Do this regularly until you see some good results.
