5 Natural Ways for Fuller and Healthier HairTopical hair products and expensive salon treatments don't really make beautiful hair. Good nutrition and gentle hair care do.

Ways to make your hair stronger and fuller

Boost keratin production

Keratin is a type of protein that makes up our hair and nails. Hair loss is a sign of poor keratin production in the body.

Food that increase keratin

Good sources of protein such as lean meat, fish, chicken, eggs, dairy products such as cheese, yogurt, and milk, legumes, and nuts increase keratin production. Protein is synthesized by the body and converted to amino acids, which in turn boost keratin levels.

Stimulate hair growth naturally

Omega 3s and omega 6s, a.k.a. Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs), are good fats that our body needs to maintain optimal health. One of the major benefits of EFAs is that they nourish our hair follicles, stimulating thicker hair growth.

Increase your servings of salmon or any oily fish. Nuts and seeds such as walnuts, almonds, flaxseed, including plant-based oils are likewise great natural sources of essential fatty acids.

Biotin and other hair-nourishing vitamins

Biotin is one of the B vitamins that are essential for hair, skin, and nails. Our body needs Vitamin H or Biotin to process carbohydrates, fats, and amino acids (protein). And because your hair is made up of protein, biotin is usually recommended for hair and nail strengthening.

Other vitamins and minerals that are most beneficial to your hair include vitamin C, zinc, and iron, which all work to condition your scalp and stimulate the follicles to grow more hair. Other than dietary sources, a good quality biotin supplement is also an option for getting our daily dose of biotin.

Consider natural hair care products

Unfortunately most hair care products found in our local shops are loaded with strange chemicals that gradually cause hair damage.

The good news is that health-friendly hair cleansers are now available. We can even DIY and create our own homemade herbal shampoos and rinses.

Try At-home hair pampering

Treating our hair with a weekly hair mask treatment is helpful. There are plenty of natural oils to choose from including natural virgin coconut oil, avocado oil, primrose oil, jojoba, and other hair-boosting essential oils

With these non-toxic ingredients, we'll never have to worry about damaging our tresses. Chemical-based products and other short-term ‘hair solutions’ obviously can't offer permanent repair.

With regular and consistent use of these tips, we are guaranteed of beautiful hair sooner than imagined. Start today!
